A Carpet:
A Carpet is my graduation project. Knitted using industrial and manual knitting machines. Made with recycled nylon, hand dyed wool, cotton and plastic waste.
Size : 5.20 Meters X 3.70 Meters (17' X 12')
Referencing to traditional carpets from Turkey and Persia, which served as mediums for spiritual concepts and abstract ideas, A Carpet mediates between the dreary, mundane everyday reality, and a cheerful spiritual world, that colors the dull, trivial city anew.
